Josh Hucklebridge, born April 23, 1982 in Shreveport, Louisiana, grew up the son of missionaries in Mexico City and Guadalajara until age 10. He attended Dripping Springs High School, and later transferred to Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Texas in 1998 where he graduated in 2000. He was an outstanding student and played football and track during his tenure at Trinity. His senior football team won the Tapps 5A State Championship where he played offensive guard and defensive end receiving District recognition for his play. After graduating from high school, he attended Austin College in Sherman, Texas studying abroad much of his time there. He graduated cum laude in 2005 with a degree in International Business. His love for people, travel and adventure took him all over the world to more than 35 countries.

   After graduating from college he started his career in business locally, beginning work in 2006 with UTEX Environmental Services in Addison, Texas. There he served as a project manager. Then in 2010 he became International Project Manager for Triple S Aviation, based also in Addison, Texas with a subsidiary office in Dubai, UAE. He died doing what he loved, as he and his friend and employer, Landon Studer, along with two other pilots perished in a twin-engine plane that crashed in Abu Dhabi, UAE on February 27th, 2011 shortly after take off. He is survived by a large extended family: father, Robert H Hucklebridge, mother, Elaine White, and sister, Christi Vitela brother-in-law, Erik Vitela, as well as his long-time love, Ruby Garcia. His grand parents include Robert H Hucklebridge, Christene A. Hucklebridge, Glenn Moss and Beverly Hampton Moss. He cherished his only uncle and special mentor, Dr. John M. Hucklebridge and aunt, Tina Hucklebridge. His nieces are Sophia Rose and Chloe Laurel Vitela and his little cousin is Ava Hucklebridge. His step family include, step mother Veronica Hucklebridge, step brother and sister, Danny and Frida Crespo, step father Brooks Doughtie, step siblings Sara, Scott and Xavier Berens; Paul, Jenny, Zachary and Rachael Doughtie; Kathryn Vitelio and Zoey Montoya; and Mary, Emily and Greg Doughtie.

   Josh lived his life to the fullest. He was loved by a big family and even larger circle of friends. His passion for life and his uncanny humor will be remembered by all who knew him. Above all, he will be remembered for his faith. He was unafraid to go anywhere or do anything. Graveside rites will be conducted in Dallas at Restland Cemetery at 10:00 am on Friday, March 11, 2011 followed by a celebration memorial service at 1:00 pm at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano.
